Tuesday – do not need to go back to school. YEAH! Determined that I should do more positive stuffs apart from lazing at home, I decided to meet up with my lovely friend, Wenjing . Looking at her, I cannot help but feel that time and age are really catching up with us.
Seems like only yesterday when I first saw her sitting alone in the lecture hall back in our university days. Because I was so lonely then (nobody took the same module with me), I ended up chatting with her over a piece of lecture notes. Since then, we become fast friends and stayed in contact till now. From her being a university student to her blissful marriage to her hubby and now heavily pregnant with a baby girl, she has indeed matured over the years.
Had a delightful girl bonding session on Tuesday. Just plain catching up on each others’ life and of course endless gossiping and giggling. I LOVE IT! It is so nice to see an old friend getting on so well in her life. I am truly happy for her.
In fact, friends around me are either getting themselves hitched or getting pregnant. We have really grown up and is stepping into a new phase in our life. Kinda sad to see all of us grow up so soon. But I guess this is life. Just accept and live our life to the fullest with no regrets.
On a lighter note, I dated Dearie to dinner and movie that very night. Had Superdog for dinner (Highly recommended by Dearie) and I thought the food is not bad. In fact, way better than MacDonald’s! And finally managed to catch Madagascar – Escape to Africa. Am peevish to realise that the tickets are sold out so fast on a weekday! Dearie had to remind me that the “hungry ghost”(students) are out. O ya – them! Can spot them anywhere. URGH!

Anyway, LOVE this piece of cartoon alot! It is hilarious and cracks me up! I love cartoons and comedies! Good remedy for totally stressed up life! Even Dearie agreed as well!!
And Xuannie, nope you don’t exactly sound like that Hippo when you laugh. In fact, your laughter is far more farcical and comical. I bet the gang will agree with me unanimously.
But not to worry, we still love you!
Anyway, Dearie and I ended out night with supper at Mongkok Dim Sum at Geylang. Superb har gao they have there. Simply mouth-smacking. I love dim sum!
And I absolutely love SCHOOL HOLIDAYS!! *Scream, Clap, Throw Confetti*
