Tioman Here I Come!

Tmr is finally the day!!! Tioman trip with dearie! =) Kinda looking forward to it beacause I can finally get to relax and get my mind off all the shitty stuff related to work.

Went shopping with Siannie yesterday and finally managed to get hold of all my swimwear! Thank goodness! As of yesterday, I was beginning to think I have to go snorkelling in T-shirt and shorts. Its been fun gossiping with Sian. And she drop a piece of good news to me – She’s getting married to YUEN Siang next year! (See I spell correctly this time!) Am really happy and thrilled for her because she have found someone whom she can entrusted her life to. =) Congrats dear! Xuannie, are you ready to start thinking of differnt kinds of tekan method to satbo Yuen SIang? Hee…

Had dinner with Dearie and went grocery shopping with him after that. Got all the snacks which we like… Corrections… actually most of them are the ones I like. Thanx dearie for accomodating me. Very sweet of you! =)

Hopefully, we will have a blast over at Tioman and will feel very rejuvenated upon our return to Sinagpore! =) 

Zoo Visit

Let’s backtrack a little… All the way to 26/4/2008. I must mention this special Saturday. Why? Simply because its our zoo visit with Siannie and Yuan Siang! A double date to revive our childhood. Its really fun to once again see all the animals I so missed since… Primary school. Yes… Its that long!

Siannie was a bit under the weather that day but it sure didn’t dampen our mood for the zoo visit. Were joking and laughing throughout the zoo visit! Even took a photo with her at the zoo. Look at her with the cute hat! (Btw, where’s my photos, sian?)

Went to watch elephants pull stunts and also saw Dearie’s Zodiac swinging around the trees. (Do I see some resemblence between Dearie and the monkeys? =P) We were particularly amused by the baboons. No matter where 1 baboon goes, there’s always another at his back, helping him to pick…. fleas. Some animals got all the luck I guess.

Dearie was already sweating buckets after 2 hours of walking. He looked at me and asked why I didn’t sweat as much as he does. Thought that was a funny question. Girls don’t usually sweat as much as guys, don’t you know that dearie? *Smirk* Dearie happen to chance upon this piece of information:

 He declared I must be a hippo then since I don’t sweat much. Not funny Dearie… (-.-”’) He has since refrain from saying that I am a hippo because of my begrudging.

All in all, we had great fun running around the zoo like some little kiddos, gushing over every single animal we saw! Haha… Can we do this again Dearie? Pls… O, not forgetting our photo!

 

My Favourite Songs

I must admit… I’m not particularly a great fan of Jay Chou. I simply CANNOT understand why my students can go ga ga over him. They said he got talent and he is so COOL. Oh well, to each opinion i guess and I can’t fault young girls for liking him as an idol. I must confess for most of the time, I can’t even catch what the guy is singing! But I must say that I absolutely love the 2 songs that were introduced to me through Dearie. In fact, was quite impressed with them actually. They are:

1) 彩红 

2）最長的電影

Finally, songs from Jay which I can understand – can hear each single lyrics crisp and clear! I like the first one but Dearie prefer the second one. He said the first song put him to sleep. (-.-”’) Since knowing the 2 songs, they have been playing in Dearie’s car almost every Saturday on repeat mode.

Manage to catch ” Music & Lyrics” with Dearie at his home. Absolutely love the movie! Gotto catch the dialouge that goes on between the various characters – Its so FUNNY! The song is absolutely fabulous as well! It used to be Sian’s favourite song. Now it has become mine as well!!! I was super impressed by Hugh Grant. Didn’t know the guy can sing so well.

Xuan said the song is overplayed. Is it? Maybe I don’t listen to radio much but this song has been on the repeat mode as well. =P

Shopping for Swimwear

Am going to Tioman this coming Saturday. Good stuff! Finally , can get somewhere where I can see no computers, laptop, work or students for that matter. Went Shopping with dearie last saturday to get beach wear. Thought could get everything within that Saturday. Who could expect getting a set of bikini could be so freaking difficult! Either i feel uncomfortable while in the changing room or the bikini set is so bloody expensive. Mind you, I absolutely love shopping. But just not shopping for swimwear.

In the end, instead of buying my bikini, I bought a pair of shorts at JOOP and Levis’ jeans. Dearie paid for the jeans. Thought that was really sweet of him to do so. Thanx sweetie! =)

Am going shopping with siannie this Thursday. Hopefully, I can get the swimwear then so that I have a blast over at Tioman. O o… One more person to thanx… Xuannie… She has been my most valuable advisor on how to get a set of bikini that is considered safe for me to show off to the public without embarrassing myself. Sorry you have to vomit blood in the process. *GRIN*

An Ideal Husband

Phew!!! Finally its the end of an extremely hectic school term!!! HOLIDAYS here I come!!! YEAH!!! While looking through Xuannie’s blog, I came across one of her entry on what she look for in a husband. She was again up to her usual whacky self and wrote out a list of what she expect her future husband to be like. Here is the excerpt:

Hm, I take the no order of merit statement back. Actually, point 14 is kind of important to me. Flying cockroaches scare the shit out of me and I don’t want my husband screaming along with me when we spot one.

Gotto admit, Xuannie has list down all the criteria that I myself could have otherwise list down. No wonder we remain friends for so long since JC. O maybe strike out point 17. I’m not a shoe lover. Shall change it to:

17. Personal swimming instructor

(I’m the only 1 after Jer who can’t swim in the entire group. Its kinda embarrassing. My frenz even mention I have got no childhood)

OR…

17. Personal Driving Instructor

(Though I passed my driving, I have been freaking scared to drive on the road. Need a sweetie who can compliment me even though he is scared shitless)

I had shown the list to Dear the first thing he touched down on Changi Airport last Sunday. Told him these are the criteria I looked for in a husband. Guess what he said?

“ Can you lend me the list? I also need to list down all the criteria I looked for in a wife.” (-.-’’’)

That Bugger! It’s a good thing I missed him because of his 1 week trip overseas. Otherwise, I could not have let him off lightly.

Now now dearie, are you seriously looking at this list and feeling very stressed? Hee..    

 

My First Post!

I have to confess – I’m really bad with all the IT stuff. I remember my msn account  is also created by my best gal pal. This is embarrassing… really.  So gals… U will be EXTREMELY surprised when u see this! I HAVE A BLOG! Hee… All thanx to my favourite-est gal pal of mine, Xuannie. (She’s the one who created the msn acc for me =p). After reading her blog, I thought it will be really fun to start writing down whatever I have seen everyday. Can be a great stress reliever as well! This is my first post! Will be writing my next one very soon… =)
